Things I Miss

Laptops that have optical drives, Because I play movies on my laptop.
Incandescent light bulbs, items you can fix and not throw away when broken, cars you could repair yourself without a degree in computer science or any other vehicle, a radio that is a radio and not an "Infotainment Center", telephones that stay home, 'Dumb' appliances, no home assistance technology (something spying on me), news from real reporters and same goes for the newspaper, common sense (wait that isn't common any more ), food not processed with chemical and other fake ingredients and soda that contained real sugar and not high fructose corn syrup.
What do you miss?

I miss the innocence I had in my early years and having the house left open/unlocked over the night time.

I miss tube tops, halter tops, great music (not the shit they make today) and half sane chick's. Most of all I miss the high beam switch on the left floor kick panel.

Guess I miss looking down and counting my feet. On a serious note, I live out in the country so the only exposure to most of the world is the news on the TV. It is slanted one way or the other so I rely on my faith and know who is still on the throne.

Friends, I'm afraid the world has passed us by! And I really don't want any part of this new world anyway! At 75 I think I'm expected to be hardheaded and crabby, and I fill the bill LOL

I've been helping my grandson work on his house, I have really enjoyed working along side him but he sure does make me miss being able to get up and down. He makes it look so easy
