Sidecar Barbie here. Just wanted to finally say hi and to say thanks for all the info I have gotten from your site over the years. I love the tips and insight all of you provide. I have ridden a sidecar for many years, and am now switching over to a trike. I will get my Hannigan rig posted here soon for sale. Gotta make some garage space before I pick up my new ride in Sept.

Okay ... let's see here ... the Yellow Submarine is the GL1800 sidecar you've been riding and now have for sale in today's post, right?

Right. So ... what is the new rig you're picking up next month? A conventional trike? Another Honda? Just curious. :clapping:

Yup. My current ride is for sale. I haven't had a new bike in 10 years. I find / build something I really like and I keep it.

The new bike is a like new 2013 Honda GL 1800 Goldwing that I am sending over to Hannigan to do a Gen 2 trike conversion on. I'm sticking with Honda. I have never owned a better, more comfortable, more reliable bike. They just work for me and my style of riding for a big touring bike.

Switching over to trikes for better gas mileage, easier to work on (if you ever have to do anything), and I just wanted something different. I might miss some of the packing space...you could carry a baby elephant in that sidecar. LOL
