Well...I had put down a deposit on a New 2017 GS C7 at Classic Chevy and had put Elvira up for sale.

I passed up a fair offer trying to be a little too greedy and then did not get another offer for what I was willing to take for her.

I got a call a couple of weeks ago from the sales manager at Classic and my GS was going into production in about 6-8 weeks, he informed my that I was number 98 on the National GS C7 waiting list and that someone wanted to buy my option. Long story short...they wrote me a good size check to sell my option.

This worked out great,I have been second guessing myself on this move from the time I bought the option on the C7.

I had considered putting a 117 or 124 kit into Elvira but really never came to a mental consensus on how to add the much needed power.

After some beers and several long talks with Steve at GMR Performance we decided to put one of HD's new bolt-on 110 C.I jug and piston kits with the GMR 577 cams, add a set of Dragos Stage 2.5 Heads, set the compression at 10.3 and one of Steve's World Class tunes.

She should be ready this weekend.

As the song says...."Thank God for un-answered Prayers"

Oh Man!

:AGGHH:Sure hope there is a dyno somewhere close like to see the numbers not that they mean that much. Sure would like to see'm though hold on tight fearless
Buckle up,Buckaroo! That should be an E-ticket ride, when finished. ThumbUp

Got my trike back from Steve @ GMR today...All I can say is "WOW" what a difference

Totally effortless power from Idle to 5500 RPM

Very quick 60 to 90 MPH
without downshifting from 6th gear

No feathering the throttle & clutch trying to get it going in first gear

25 MPH second gear hard roll on throttle lifted the front wheel

I asked Steve to build me a TQ monster for this heavy beast, he exceeded my expectations.

Steve does not have a trike dyno, he used a tune from one of his identical builds from a couple of months ago and then fined tuned it with a Green TTS module. I asked him what kind of power he thought it made, he said it would be somewhere around 125 SQ on a 2 wheeler, but that my trike drivetrain was not as efficient as a 2 wheeler.

I really don't care what the #'s are...my butt dyno has put a big ass grin on my face

Well done Steve.

Sure glad you kept your trike,Carl. I certainly enjoyed talking to you on the phone. Only problem is,now I want Steve to build us something similar for our trike. Sherry is already shaking her head. :)

The only substitute for cubic inches,is cubic dollars.

Hey Clint, it was good talking to you also. The really big question is Sherry shaking her head yes or no

next time you guys are in DFW lets get together and you can ride this thing...and go to Joe T's of course

I am going to do a complete write-up today after putting about 100 miles on it last night riding two up
