Texas helmet laws

We're going to Texas in Jan. and need to know what to expect with the helmet laws. Thks, Chuck & Cissy

According to my HOG book, Texas required a helmet if you are under 21. If you are over 21, it is not required with successful completion of rider training or $10,000 in medical insurance. Hope that helps.

Below is a link to a website that gives you VERY detailed information about motorcycle laws in each state. It actually sites the sections of the law. Sometimes you need to be a lawyer to understand it, but it provides some good info... after you click on the link just select return to the national helmet law map and go to the state you want.
