Tank lift

It threw my range off aprox 25 miles, meaning fuel light comes on at 167 miles instead of 190. Gauge reads empty but on fillup shows tank had 1.2 gal left. Don't know if this is usable fuel.

On our 09' it did change the gauge but I always set my trip meter and start looking for fuel around 140-150 miles that gives us time to get fuel at least in PA. Where you ride may be different. I learned the hard way about motorcycle fuel gauges, I pushed a 750 4 cylinder about 6 miles 45+years ago never again will I trust them. Ride safe Fred

Yes, it is usable fuel. On 13 and earlier models, likelihood is that the gauge will change to show you have a little less fuel than you actually have, but it should all be useable, especially with the Deluxe Option.

Harley changed their fuel gauge in 2014. On 2014 & later models you will have a pretty accurate gauge, with or without a Tank Lift Kit.
