Tall winshield or Stock winshield

When I picked up my '14, I immediately had the 12" (old standard size for FLHTC's) installed. Why H-D changed the size on the '14 is beyond me. The 12" is just perfect for me. It is right at eye level so I can go either way depending on the weather. I even have the Zepplin air seat and I'm 5'-11".

I just ordered a 10" light tint LRS Flat Top for our 2014. If it lessens the passenger buffeting my wife will be very happy. I'm told it will be about stock height which is perfect for me at 6' 2" to look over.

You probably could have gone taller if you wanted. I'm only 5'8" but short legs and long torso and I just put on a LRS light tint 11" Ultra Wide. I can still see well over the top of it. Made a nice difference. Wife is happy. She said a lot less wind hitting her now. The remaining wind is coming from up over the tank now, but I'm doing the DK tank lift this weekend which should take care of that.
