not sure if a sunday ride belongs here or in travel, but as we were just in the local area i guess here will do. thought it might be nice to show you all a bit of australia, and while i sort of got more into sneaking pics while riding, i missed the scenery, so i will do better next time. also this group of friends, which is half and half male and female like to ride fast, which means i didnt get any pics in the tighter winding bits.
we decided to break the law ind ride without registering with the police, and risked a bit of jail time. we did get questioned, and breathalized, (we all blew 0.00 )but one country cop wasnt game to arrest us all.
actually i started my day taking a few pics of the house and yard, and will put those in as well.

we probably covered about 350Ks. which is a bit over 200 miles

should explain that in queensland a group of 3 or more harley riders can be deemed a "Vicious Lawless Association" under the new VLAD laws.

So in other words you are judged for riding a Harley in a small group. You have to register to take a nice Sunday ride. That's just absured.:Wrong:

Just a Quick Question One, are you on what they call the Gold Coast, or???? I Know some People "Down Under" that I've met on a Harley Group a few years back, and Have had the Luck to even Meet one that came here for a Visit two Years ago! Some GREAT People down there Mate! ThumbUp

Hogman55 i live in the green belt between the gold coast, and Brisbane. it would take me about 40 minutes to get to either central Brisbane or central Gold coast. i lived on the Gold coast for about 10 years before moving here. i am planning to take a ride down there sometime in the next few weeks and take some photos to post here.

Shimpy unfortunately we see a fair few kangaroos on the road, usually dead, The kangaroo and all the other sub species of kangas have no road sense and can bound infront of a car bike or truck in a heartbeat. as a rider you have to be aware of them. Usually dusk is the time they are most likely to be around. One of my friends always has a few kangaroos in his garden. i will get some kanga pics for you sometime soonish.
