Some friends and I and the wife are planning a "bucket list" trip to Sturgis in 2015. It looks like it will be about a 4 day trip up (old folks take it slow). I'm looking at a possible stop in Kansas City for the HD factory tour, and of course a lot of stops at various HD dealerships along the way. We plan to rent a house in Sturgis for the rally, and do several day rides while there, including Mt. Rushmore, Deadwood, and the Black Hills. We want to swing down from Sturgis after the rally and do a loop through the Southwest, eventually ending up home in Tennessee. Now the question. Does anyone have suggestions for the after the rally part of the ride. We are looking at around 400 miles a day, taking our time and stopping where ever the mood strikes. All of us are retired, so there is no time concern.
