NOT TOO BUSY IN STURGIS.

Sturgis

As they say “been there done that” - let the new guys have their fun….STill, I miss those days…….(my Stepson and HIS son are there now)

:Coffee:

Looking at the feeds it is clearing out. The Saturday feed was light, but then people have to return to work on Monday and they probably left on Friday. As long as everyone had a good time is all that matters. :)

I have watched the live-cams for the last few years and this year was certainty not the biggest turn out. All the street barricades for "motorcycle only" have been removed today. The streets are now all open for traffic. It's over for another year..... Jim

The wife and I have attended 19 of the last 20 years at Sturgis. It is very much an acquired taste.... You either enjoy watching stupid people, or you don't.... :)

It had a "busy" feel for us this year, especially compared to the past few..... We go early and leave early, and the week before had noticeably more people.

Still lower on vendors than say 10 years ago, especially in the cities away from downtown. Maybe the increase in crowds will bring them back???

My first Sturgis was my last. Rolled through in 73, didn't stop long enough to take a leak.:) I was on the road for a while didn't know anything about it. I was always gettin asked are you going to Sturgis? Told my wife one more person asks and we're going. From what I could see there were already enough assholes there so they didn't need me.

Did it twice. A looooong ride out and back .

Seed what I wanted to saw , dood what I wanted to did . Plus got wet both in a good and bad way :D

We were there on Friday afternoon...pretty good crowd....hot!

Rode back through on a Sunday ride and noticeable lessening of traffic....vehicles and people. No real big reduction on prices from the vendors....t-shirts still at $15.

By Monday afternoon, SD DOT was taking down the temporary stop/go lights out in the Hills.

Another Rally done!
