Does your trike seem to stop in a shorter distance than your old bike from the same speed. Ours does and were were ridin an EG. Not sure it would stop faster than a Sporty, but the Sporty weighs 700? pounds less.

My Road King Police converted to Road Glide Champion stops alot better.

I have an 11 T/G, And so far it's been as trouble free as any Honda I've owned, That said, It's also the Worst stopping Trike or bike i've ever had, So much so that i had to alter my riding style, ie, leave more room for breaking.
But it's still a keeper.ThumbUp

The trouble is Harley has never adopted a unified braking system like "the other touring machine that isn't allowed to be mentioned here" has, and did so since 1983. Even with the trike conversion, the unified braking system is kept intact, unlike the Triglide. That being said I would think any 2 wheels on the back should stop faster than one little skinny wheel that can lock up and throw the bike down.
