I've been lurking and decided I should register and join in. I just took delivery of my 2010 Triglide Ultra about a month ago and I'm having fun riding a Trike. I've been a car person ever since I can remember with my last stint as Crew Chief on my brothers Top Dragster. The Dragster was a hoot, running a blown Methanol 540" BBC running 6.70's at almost 200 mph on a mild tuneup. In 2004 I decided to get into Harleys and now I'm in up to my eye balls. Started in July of 04 on a new 883 Sportster and within 2 months I moved to a 05 Electra Glide classic followed 1 year later by a 06 Ultra Classic. Then the Trike bug bit when my dad got one so I followed his lead and now I'm riding a Trike also.

Glad to have you with us..!! The trike bug is REALLY catching with new and old riders alike. I've been riding bikes most of my life, and the trike opens up a whole new world to those who can't do 2 wheels or just feel safer. Enjoy that Tri-Glide, and you'll find the more you ride the more you like it...As for those Hot Rods..I did it for a long time too (Super Stock). Had the biggest shovel that Home Depot sold, but still couldn't shovel the money fast enough...

Welcome aboard and ride safe... Oh, check out my profile pics, I've got one of the last SS car I had, running at a nostalgia meet.

Hey msocko! Welcome to TrikeTalk. You really DID get the bug didn't you...LOL! Good for you. You will have a ball with the trike, and it sounds as though you just love riding---period! Nothin' wrong with that

Welcome to the funny farm, but U have already found that out since U have been lurking :D. We have a great bunch on here so enjoy urself, get Ur dad on here, maybe he can help some of us out, but some are beyond help ;).
Ride safe and enjoy.

welcome aboard msocko3. you will like it here. Bring your dad along also

Its kind of funny when I think about how I probably don't fall within Harley Davidson's targeted age group with me being 45 years old. At first I didn't know if I would like a Trike but after riding my dads I was sold. I enjoy the difference that it brings to the ride vs the 2 wheeler hitting the twisty s is a hoot. The 1st little trip I took into the mountains of PA with the wife I had her tell me it was like riding a roller coaster. I think one of th best parts is when your taking a long trip how much stuff you can haul and its more comfortable. I just got back a few weeks ago from a trip to Tennessee where I put 586 mile on the 1st day with no problem.

Well you sure know what to do to make it look nice. Yes it is like a roller coaster now that you mention it. It is not an old man thing like some people think it is just different. like saying only young people enjoy a sports car or stick shift. Enjoy the scenery as you drive . Wife in down in Penn now .Great ridding roads
