Stink bug removal method in NY

You wait for them to land , then harpoon them with a tooth pick  Disposal is at the Harpoone’s option.

The odor from the stink bug is due to trans-2-decenal and trans-2-octenal. The smell has been characterized as a "pungent odor that smells like coriander."

The stink bug's ability to emit an odor through holes in its abdomen is a defense mechanism meant to prevent it from being eaten by birds and lizards.

Some friends were on their way to meet me at a Bluegrass Festival. About half way there, they decided to turn on the defroster. Stink bugs came flying out like confetti. They had to pull over to deal with them. I think he had them all season long.

Normally....When i can keep my Cat like reactions in check, I'll just drop a tissue over them and gently rap them in it , Then into the stove and light the tissue...

But this being the first one of the season.....It was a quick swat and crush....:xzqxz:...

With Odorous results.............

Thank God global warming is over, Finely we'll get rid of some of those interlopers from China...:taz::taz:....:D..
