stereo static

Just bought a 2002 trike. Put in a new stereo and sounds good with ignition off. When the key on even before I start it I guess when the water pump is running getting nothing but static on the fm radio. Thought it may have been the ground so I ran a new one to the frame,. No better results. Has anyone else had this trouble? I read something about grounding the antenna but not sure what that means. Need help.

Arcing spark plug wire sometimes Will do that also is it possible that the spark plugs aren’t resistant type plugs?

What kind of ignition system does this have

It has regular AC Delco FR5LS plugs and not sure of ignition system but it is Delco Remy. Also I get the static when engine is off but ignition is on. Only thing running is water pump so it should not be getting any interference from plugs. Does that thought make sense?
