Does anyone know what the make is of steering box on a stallion is? I purchased a Stallion to rebuild and it has broken gear in steering box? cannot find info on who makes the box?

Visiting the factory a few years ago, a rep told us that the steering box was from a Chevrolet Vega. He told us that this box is used on many after market applications.
