AMarillo, Tx and the Big Texan Steakhouse..if you travel I-40 through there, stop and give it a try. ONLY place I have ever been I could order a filet and have it come to me fork tender. AMAZING................Wonderful atmosphere as well.

This is also the home of the 72oz. Steak Challenge...lol...WHAT a huge chunk of beef!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you eat the T-bone, 2 sides and salad, and appetizer in ONE HOUR its free...otherwise....its $72.00 lol . Last time we were there, well over 100,000 ppl had tried. Only 4-5 thousand have ever completed it.

Hoping to come to see Palo Duro Canyon some time next year; will give you a shout-out and maybe we can go find a 'better' steakhouse together!!!

OOOPS!!! Just now saw your reply. Palo Duro Canyon is a really beautiful ride,but a very brief one(even stopping and checking out stuff you will be done in a couple hours) I recommend taking the ride when they are running "Texas" down in the amphitheatre in the bottom of the canyon and catching the show also.Panhandle Plains museum is another really cool place to visit and right on the way to Palo Duro
