Spring Ahead - Fob Battery

We all remember to set our clocks ahead one hour, why not remember to change Fob Batteries at the same time?
It will save a headache later.

The one for my GoldWing is now over 7yrs old!!!!!! I'm letting it go, as well as the origional bike battery that is kept on a maintainer at all times when in my garage, just to see how long both will actually last!!!!!

I carry a couple of spares with me at all times in tour pak with spare fuses. I also carry a couple of spares in my car's glove box. I had the fob for the bike die last summer when we stopped for a potty break, just snapped it open, replaced the battery, and off we went. The reason for carrying a couple is I have had to give one to a friend so he could start his bike. Boy did he pay

Strange things happen when those fob batteries go.

Always carry new batteries and both Fobs. Wife has one and I carry the other.

I always change the batteries in the Spring and carry spare in the tour pack.

I am at the 3 year mark on my original batteries. One of the FOB's only works when I get it within a foot of the seat. It no longer works if I leave it in the Tour Pak. I have spare batteries...gonna change them out today.
