AMEN! Prayers are going up constantly. Please check in and let us know you are ok.

Thanks to our government officials, police, firefighter and other emergency personnel for alerting folks and for evacuating low lying areas. This storm could have taken many more lives. Many parts of our town and other communities are still under water. I noted at least 12 inches of water in our neighbor's garbage can. Our power was out 8 hours today, and many folks still do not have power. Obviously, water will have to recede in some areas before power can be restored. Thanks for all your prayers and good thoughts! :)

It was way too much action for me! It started at 6 AM with buckets of rain all day long. Then the winds started howling around 9 AM and that plus buckets of rain went on to about 6PM. Then we got the back side of the storm and the winds started gusting to 85 or higher. This went on till about 10 PM. We lost power at 9 PM. It was the longest day! Thank you for your prayers and well wishes.

We made out fine . The sump pump got a work out . We didn't loos power, Thank god . Honey's Dialysis machine would be difficult to power with a generator all night. Rain ended about noon and sun came out at 6:00.
