Hello ,
Bill here from Cayce SC. After 50 years of two wheeling I am having our 2010 Goldwing converted to a trike. The wife likes the Champion so that is what we will go with. If you have rode this kit it sure would be nice to hear your review. We did shop the Tri Glide as well but features said the Wing we should stay with even if we had to admitt we both loved the looks of the TG. We hope to meet people who love to tour thru this forum so we may exchange ride stories and maybe even meet some day. Never riding a Trike I hope I will be happy as I love tp burn the twisties doing so on sport bikes for years and now on the wing , but father time has sapped the legs and other items as well so to keep the wind in my face I have other rout.

Re: soon to be triker

Hi, I have the roadsmith but, I looked hard at the Champion. I think you would be glad if you get the independent suspension. try going to the bikes and trikes facebook page
they do alot of champion trikes

Re: soon to be triker

Hi Bill, and welcome to TrikeTalk! You will need about 500 miles before you feel at ease with the steering of the trike, so don't be surprised or worried if you feel very awkward at first. It is often easier for someone who has not been used to countersteering on a 2-wheeler! Hope you are having a rake kit put on along with the trike kit!!! With the rake, you will soon be out cornering your 2-wheel friends in the twisties and doing it with a big ol' grin on your face!!! :D

Welcome aboard Bill you will not regret going to # wheels. Most of us don't at all.

Re: soon to be triker

Welcome aboard Bill. Go ahead and convert your GW to a trike. You will love it and never regret you did it. You won't look back. I had the same doubts when I converted mine. You will eat a lot of bugs from smiling while on the trike. Good Luck.

Re: soon to be triker

Thanks for the info. I am going with the EZ steer 5% rake and the independant supension with anti sway bar. I will order the kit shortly after my surgery on the 24th I expect it will take 8 to 12 weeks to get the thing finished and by then I should have recovered myself and ready for a long trike ride.
