Hi everyone,
I have a 2015 harley limited I plan on putting a roadsmith hdt or hdtr kit on just haven't decided which I like better yet. I will look at both at biketober fest. Need to see both first and ride not just see the pics. Always interested in the do's and don'ts. This is a great site. Thanks

Welcome..... Half the fun is looking ..... But when your done looking and finely Trik'en 'You'll wonder why you waited so long.....ThumbUp

I agree. You will be getting lots of pro IRS and pro solid axle posts. Your best bet is to ride both and THEN make a decision. I did and chose the solid axle because for me the extra cost for the IRS wasn't worth it - to me.
It boiled down to me eventually buying the H-D Triglide because I didn't want the warrantee problems and who's going to fix it. And I like the dealer network system for repairs.

I was even contemplating the Tow-Pac bolt on kit at first. :)

Take your time. It's a big investment so make absolutely sure which version you will be happy with.

Welcome from the Plateau in TN!! Just git triken' . The time you wait is good times gone by. Ah, I just am glad to hear of another joining the ranks. Take your time and rationalize your choice, then you will be pleased with your ride with no regrets or is that "regerts"

Welcome aboard! Test ride as many as you can, or better yet, rent for a day, then you get a much better idea of your likes & dislikes. Have fun!

welcome aboard +1 to GARYD post. You might even be able to get a demo on the 17 TRI-Glide if they bring one this year. If you decide on a new or used TRI go see my friend TONY the SALES MANAGER at Space Coast HD Palm Bay. Tell him Ted from Key Largo sent you. You will get the best deal available. They are a volume dealer. Believe me you will not regret it if the TRI is the way you go.

Ok, hear we go. I stopped at my local HD dealer yesterday. They r giving me a deal I am finding hard to resist on trading my 15 limited on a new 16 tri. Going tomorrow to test drive n contemplate. Called a different dealer and they said they couldn't come close. Hmm!

Just got back from Sturgis = WOW!!! the number of TriGlides was amazing.

Thinking back to when I bought my first 2012TG = maybe I'd see 1 or 2 TG's in a month and very few at Rolling Thunder/Sturgis - now they're everywhere. I'm not unique any more. :D ThumbUp

Welcome and congrats on the 2016. I just bought a 2016 also, went to look at a 2013 they had but it had sold, they had a 2016 used with 3,200 miles on it, already had the tour pack rack, the lighted rack around the tour pack plus it already had a lift kit on it plus the fenders already had the clear film on it plus had the bumper already installed. So I ordered some 12.5 wild one bars and grips for it and a rider backrest, can't wait to pick it up, could have taken it then but trying to figure how to put it in my garage with 2 vehicles and 2 other harley's so I left it, they maybe in a week and half. With the parts and they gave me a discount on labor I was happy with what I gave, we talk back and forth on the price, he came down quite a bit and I went up just a little, I was determine on my price.

Enjoy your new ride, I think you will be happy from what everyone tells me, I have rode other triglide's and I knew I wanted one, getting up there in age.

All for now Trampas

Congrats!!!

Welcome to the bunch great group of people here again congrats fred

You will be glad

I triked my 2006 Electra Glide after moving, and now living on a county gravel road.
Trikes can handle any road, I would of triked years ago, if I had known the advantages.

Picked up my new 16 tri glide on Tuesday afternoon. Road it home it started raining 30 mins. later n now we are dodging the hurricane in the gulf. Everyone was sent home early from work today so I spent the afternoon putting rack on tour pack, highway pegs, and my new DK comfort lift kit. All done tonight. Tomorrow just adjust headlight and wait for some riding weather. Sunday I hope!

My 2010 was pretty unusual in northern Colorado, sure not the case anymore. Just traded it in on a 2016. So far so good.
