Solenoid....

The solenoid on the reverse motor on my 11 Tri Glide gave up the ghost, It will only work if I give a good tap with a hammer.. and then only once or twice until I hit it again with the hammer...
Anybody have a part number...??

Be sure when you are tapping the solenoid you aren't jarring the brushes back into contact with the commutator. They had some problems with the brushes on units up through mid '12 when they modified the brushes & end cap.
If that be the case warranty, or service bulletin should cover it. They were replacing the motor on everything that came in. It might be worth a check.
