A Beautiful sunny day in February in Cleveland. A balmy 17 degrees F and perfect for riding! (Well maybe not ideal) A mere 20” or so of snow here. I couldn’t resist a quick snow ride on my Tri! What a blast to do doughnuts and power slides! Also got familiar with the abs brakes in a safe environment. Don’t worry, my baby boy never touched salt.

ThumbUpThumbUp.......I also ride in the Snow....And i'm not worried about no stinking salt...:NoJoke:

I ride all winter here in the Chicago area. Salt is not a problem - I spray the TG down with S100 Corrosion Protector. 6 years riding in the winter and you can't find/see a spot of rust anywhere on the trike. This stuff is amazing. I tried Harley's corrosion crap and that is exactly what it is = CRAP. Tried it one winter on my first TG and all the wheels were ruined and most of the nuts and bolts were corroded.

I'm not spending over $32K on a vehicle and then store it for 6 months every year.

The lowest I've ever ridden was -6 degrees about 4 years ago. Thankfully I've never had to ride close to that temp since. :D

That is good to know about that S100 corrosion protector. I hear you when you say spending 32,000 on a vehicle and storing it for six months every year. But some people, it just don’t bother them. I think the coldest I’ve ever ridden is about 14°. But I only rode a few miles and then back home. Another time I rode 150 miles in 34° weather. But we had heat and we were toasty, and the roads were dry. of course that’s when I was younger. Now cold weather does not appeal to me whatsoever. I will wait until it warms up slightly to ride around town. But riding is still a lot of fun!
