Snow in December?

Living in FL my Grand daughters have never seen snow. My daughter wants to take them some where to see it over Christmas vacation. Can't be more than a 2 day drive. I'm thinking Smokies in NC. Any one have ideas as to where and what's the chances of seeing any?

The Smokies ought to do it. There's already been snow there. Not sure how much accumulation, but for sure it's been flying. Better tell them to bundle up, cause the temps are in the 30s for highs during the day in the higher elevations.

Snow in the NE is like sex, you never know when you will get it. But when you do, the clean up sucks !
