Small liquid cooled Harey Davidsons on the way?

I also read in American Iron that Harley is coming out with a 500cc V-twin for beginners - - - - - only overseas and not available in the States.

They have to get new riders in the fold, Some people would never buy any Harley in its present form...
So new blood will be good for the whole Harley line..Gotta go with the times..
Honda is thinking the same, They hit a home-run with their Cb500, And the Grom...

They are baby v-rods. Street 500 and 750. The one's for the US market will be made in the US. The one's for the emerging markets and Europe will be made in India. The 500s will be used in HD's Rider's Edge rider training program replacing the 500cc Buell Blasts.

suvcw, if you downsize a Harley, it's still a Harley.

At least now the sporster owners will have someone to make fun of. They will now be the middle child. LOL

Rhino2 is correct.
At the end of the day, we need the jap/british/italian bikes because Harley isn't big enough to fight the government on it's own. I think Harley would be like Pontiac now if it wasn't for all the motorcycle mfg's/ABATE/AMA out there. JMHO
