Slow Loading site

Is there a reason that this site loads so slow ?????? I do not experience "slow loading" at other sites but this one is terribly slow.

I don't have any problems. Loads/runs just fine on my computer.

We also have no trouble with slow loading. What server do you use? We are usually on Safari, but a certain few sites don't work well with that. For those we have to open up Firefox. Not quite sure why that is....

I recognize the engine of this forum as one that is used in many other forums I use. And it does load very slow for me from time to time anywhere I use it.

However, I'm on a cable modem. And I can tell you it helps a lot if you unplug the power once a week for about a minute to my cable modem. I suspect the modem caches some information like a router, and if the information table gets huge, it slows things down. But that's just a guess. But the fact that resetting it helps, is a fact.

I use internet explorer 8 and hughes sattalite

i also use exployer 8 with DSL from bellsouth. no loading issues for me
