Now that the Geese are flying north...
I was wondering do you call them. ;;

Canada Geese....Or Canadian Geese...:Shrug:
I was thinking about that all night and I couldn't get any sleep..

No matter, they are a pain the ....., because the mess all over the golf courses.
There are areas which have a major problem with them and they pollute the pond, lake waters. Some ponds are closed because of the bacteria they create by the large number of geese.

Rosy

It depends on which side of the border they were hatched. Geese hatched south of the border are properly called Canada geese. The term Canadian is reserved for those carrying a passport. :D

The term sh*t like a goose has special meaning locally. Residents are under constant threat of areal bombings as the geese fly out every morning and the maintenance crews sweep the sidewalks several times a day.

They fly so high over our place we only hear them, can't see them, however we know when spring is here by the sound.:pepper:

Our ponds get flooded wit em every year, twice a year in fact.
Some of em like it so much here they never leave.
Those of us that fish in our ponds get up set wit em.
I don't have a pond I just use my cousins. No clean up for me. LOL

Here at the Horicon Marsh we see nearly 100k geese during migration. We call them "Canadas" and, when in flight they're called a "skein" not a "V". Just sayin...

When they're in migration they fly in a ''V''... When the flock takes off in a hurry then I guess its a Skein.. :Shrug: [Skein= Snarl' Tangle]
