What is the best product to glue the broken tab back on for a Gl1800?

I use J B Weld products mostly

JB Weld is great stuff. But you mentioned it was "a tab" you wanted to reattach. Is it plastic? If it is plastic, your best bet is JB weld for plastics, not the traditional jb weld.

I like to scuff up and make deep gouges or scores around the area to be reattached on both pieces and get some of the epoxy on/in those gouges.
