I'm still very new to all this triking and may ask stupid questions. (I know, the only stupid question is he one that is not asked) How can you tell when your shocks are going bad? Thanks

See any fluid or fluid "stains" on the lower leg of the shock?
When you push down on one side or the other (compressing the shock assembly) does it "rebound" quickly and smoothly?

Does it bounce more than once after you push down on the body on the rebound? Shocks should feel stiff when you push down and just come back up smoothly without any rebound.

Do I have to let the air out of the third shock first? I spose so, otherwise how could I really tell if they are bad.

I believe the CSC Daytona Conversion has one shock mounted Horizontally? Call the guys at CSC, they are excellent! Ride Safe!

Agreed, It is a horizontal shock, and CSC should have your answer.

Have you adjusted the preload? It could be incorretly set.
