Found a place in our Canadian neighbors province that deals with sheepskin. Reasonable price all good reviews so... with my birthday approaching soon I scored one for us. Delivered for less than a hundred USD. When it arrives I will model it err Shiney will LOL. I have heard alot of good things about sheepskin covers. Ride safe Fred/Jeanne

Yes I have had many and they cant be beat. Like a fat girl shade in the summer and heat in the winter. Kept the shiny side up. :D:D:blush:

So it looks like it just sits over your seat, not strapped down. I wonder if you will slide around on the seat ? I have never had a cover like this.. Fred, Thanks for the info.

Me either so I guess I'll have a little checking around. I read somewhere if it has a rough underside it will stay put on the seat. For me I will do some sort of securement just to make it an issue if left unattended. I don't want to give someone an easy opportunity to go bad. I'm sure it's not Rocket Science to attach straps of some sort that can be undone if need be. :good: Travel safe Fred

Just the appearance of difficulty in taking the sheepskin is worth it, not a quick snatch and run so to speak. More for my own peace of mind than most likely anything. Fred

Congratulations. Hope you enjoy yours as much as we have ours.

Here is another company that makes sheepskin covers with straps and will have a hole cut for the backrest. I have one and it is quality and fits my trike perfectly.

Yes I looked at those but I enjoy the challenge of doing my own. The time and about $5 bucks in materials and you have it the way you want it. I can use the money saved for other Harley needs Thanks for the input. Ride safe Fred

Don't trim till you have & use it a while. Ya can always take off,but can't put it back. O Yeah....... Happy Birthday AGAIN Fred...

Wow, totally missed the Birthday part of the post... Hope you had a wonderful B-Day brother! (Party)
Man it was a great day 68 and still breathing the Good Lord blesses me everyday with good health. I can't tell you how good I feel a few aches and pains but I believe that goes with the numbers LOL. Thanks for thoughts. Fred

I have had two for years, one for driver and one for passenger. I purchased them from Alaskan Leathers and they had elastic straps that went under the seat to hold them on. easy to take them off in case of rain or if you want to lock them up. I am sure you could rig up some straps. Happy Birthday!
