Been using one for some time. FM is ok depending on distance from transmission tower. Overall bike to bike not nearly as good distance as CB.

We have a set of 20s units. As stated, the FM depends on the proximity of the station and the strength of the signal. The antenna is the wire from the Sena unit to the right speaker. I get the best reception by running the wire over the top of my head between the liner and the shell.
I have a removable liner in the helmet, but a buddy's helmet has a glued in liner and he had to run the antenna/speaker wire under rear liner along the base of the helmet. Doesn't seem like much, but on the same station I get better reception for much longer than he does.
I haven't started to use the Sena to it's potential, but some things that I really like about it are the bluetooth connectivity with the phone. I have a 64 gb card with 5600 songs on the phone, if there is 4GLTE, and you have enough data, Pandora, Last FM or any music streaming music/app can be listened to.
I have taken phone calls while on the Bonneville, no windshield, and the noise suppression is so good the caller didn't know I was on the bike. On my phone - a Samsung Galaxy S5 - I can use the phone's voice command to control the phone. The intercom has a good range (as noted not as good as CB, but good for Bluetooth) and is clear.
The only thing I have found that might be a negative about it is when I am listening to music the VOX might take a syllable or two to realize you are talking and its not just road noise.
All in all, I really like it.
