Thanks to the technical expertise I found here and videos on Youtube I was able to save well over a thousand dollars on two upgrades. I installed 12" Mayhem Baggers at a savings of about $500 and a friend had a catless headpipe which we installed yesterday. Being in AZ getting rid of any heat is a plus.

I caused myself some problems during the handlebar installation and thanks to Jack Klarich I was able to find out how to check and identify codes which pointed me to what I needed to fix. More money saved.

This is my first Harley and it can be intimidating to take on upgrades and repairs but with the knowledge available with a simple search of the forum it is amazing what you can do yourself.

Again, Thanks for sharing.

Good to hear Kurt and I'm sure you have a sense of accomplishment in doing it yourself. Like you I've learned a lot on several forums and certainly this one since I got my TG in the fall of 2016.

Good work!

Feels good to do it yourself a little pride in the ride...:pepper: and cash still in pocket for other chrome pieces. LOL Congratulations on the completed projects. :Congrats:travel safe Fred
