Wishing anyone affected by Hurricane Sandy good luck. Garage nice and dry for now but who knows tomorrow. I'm located high enough that water shouldn't reach trike.

Luckily I am 120 ft above sea level. Cleaned out the gutters. Gassed up truck and bike. Trike is safe, in theory, at HD where they were too lethargic to get service done last week. Underground power lines. And best of all, I wasn't scheduled to travel this week, for once, and they cancelled work in office for Mon and Tues with pay. Good luck to everyone else getting nailed.

Just got the call. All schools closed here in Palmyra tomorrow and more than likely, Tuesday as well. Keep yer heads down. Good luck to everyone in the storm's path.

hang in there guys. Remember to stay away from wondows. Find a secure area in the center of the house

In N.Mich. we are starting to feel a little wind already and tomorrow and Wed. its suposed to gus to over 50mph with rain. Who would have thought a hurricane would affect here that much, at least im over 1300 feet above sea level. I wish everyone luck that are closer than we are.

Just got back from an AM kayak surf session.... waves are really growing but the wind gusts are were getting to be unmanageable. Will be hunkered down for the duration.... hope everyone is safe and makes it through the storm with no major issues.
