Safety

I am in the process of writing an article about trikes for the local rag. I'm curious if anyone on this site has ever seen a comparison of accidents involving bikers and trikers. My assumption is that trikers are less likely to be involved
due to the stability and size of the trike. (Easier to see on the road)
Appreciate any information.

Never seen any stats.
My guess trikes would be safer because most trikers have coriders and if they start getting to reckless they get a slap on the helmit and here the words slow down.

Depends on the corider, I have one who seems kind of wild:yes:. As long as she isn't surprised she's game for quite a few antics. I've had her on back of my 06 Ultra with the front end in the air and all she could yell was do that again. On the back of my trike I didn't give her any warning before the front end come up and she called me a rebel..... Can't win:D.
