I'm still evaluating / considering seat options for my 2018 Tri-Glide. Wondering if anyone has a Saddlemen Road Sofa seat on theirs - specifically a 2014-2018 model year trike. Reason being is Saddlemen tech specialist says that the trikes in the Rushmore era have something different about their frame and the Saddlemen seat does not fit well enough. He said I would not be happy as there are gaps at the rear (which I had anyway due to the TP relo kit which I remedied with the large flap from Kury) and on the sides.
Now H-D says their Hammock seat, 52000177, fits all touring models including trikes from MY 2014 to 2018. Guess it is possible that the Saddlemen seat pan is a closer fit than H-D's and may not align well with the trike but I'd like to know for sure before I order. They do have a 30-day return policy so I guess I could go that route but rather avoid it if I could.
