Saddleman fender bras

The HD ones needed some initial stretching. I noticed you have the fender edge chrome, do the saddleman's fit over the chrome trim because the HD one's do not without some modification.

They have clips that are somewhat adjustable, have to re-bend them but you can do it by hand if you need to. That may be why they look strange to me right now.

I just placed the same brand, Saddleman, on my trike a couple of weeks ago. Not impressed with the fit or look. Tight stretch and are loose on the edge. Not a tight fit as shown in pics. The outer edges did not stay wrapped around the corner. Will be getting the Harley brand hopefully a better look and fit.

Exactly my thoughts! HD #57892-11 rear fender bra looks almost the same, but not compatible with fender trim. I may just take these apart and remake them myself so they fit right.

I'm not a fan of bras for cars or bikes. I knew a few people in my Vette club that had one on their Vettes. They really messed up their paint jobs. To me they just don't look flattering. I would install the 3M clear paint protector film before doing that. Which I did.

Well, now I have a rip in the left side bra, guess it didn't like going on a trip. I'll see if their customer service is any good now.

To maybe close this up, I bought some Harley fender bras, used. They fit really well, came off a trike that had the chrome trim so went right on. As for the Saddlemens bras, they sent me a replacement set after I sent in some pics of the defective ones, no problem really.

One thing I like about the Saddlemens bra is the clip that fits onto the wheel cutout is a bendable metal covered with leather so you can actually adjust it to fit better over the chrome trim piece.
