roverv8auto front engine

G'day all. thanks for following the build. I hope to get the mounting plates cut out & drilled this week to solid mount to the frame I also have to make the rear frame to support the rear shock absorbers I watts linkage & LPG tank.

G'day 1dn5up. The engine is out of a range rover. All aluminium same as the Buick 215. Rover bought the rights to the engine. the alloy head Buick was a 300. We didn't get to many of those out here in OZ. This motor is popular for it low weight. I hope to get away with the standard front forks but it will depend on steering & trail when it's rideable. because of the dual disc & anti dive brakes I'm thinking of mounting the forks onto a separate fork & increasing the rake in the spacers

I had that engine in the Rover Car with 2 SU carbs. It was a real slug .

Would make a grate power plant for your project. Wish you luck. :clapping:
