1- I know there are 2 basic kinds of air pumps, analog and digital. Difference in price is about $20 (or less if you shop enough online). Any preferences by you guys here, or why the digital is that much better than the analog?

2- On the HD website, the digital pump (#54000033) doesn't show to "fit" the 2016 Tri Glide, or any recent year at all. Yet it's the only digital pump on the HD site, and the description of the pump itself says it fits all touring models through 2016. Which is it, does it fit or not?

3- Can you use this same gauge to check tire pressures, or is it a different size and won't fit the tire valve stems?

I have the analog pump, Using it since 2011, Its a Harley no air loss pump, And it works fine.. I haven't tried it on the tires , No need to i have a separate gauge for that..Also as a reminder... Before bleeding air out of the shocks, You should always add few pounds before bleeding any out....

When the digital gauge fails, you will only have the pump. Analog is the way to go. The pump and gauge is not made for use on tires.

I use analog. Fill valve for shocks is same as used on tires. I have never thought of using it for checking trike tire pressures. I use an accu-check digital gauge for that task.

Analog gauge from HD for the shocks, never even crossed my mind to try it on the wheels, I use my everyday quality tire pressure gauge for the wheels.
