Rolling Thunder 2013 is fast approaching.

Will anyone else be heading there?

Especially anyone from Virginia looking to get together to ride up there possibly as a group?

SMSgt - I'll be joining you on Run For The Wall. I'll be on the Central Route. This will be my ninth trip. Recently moved from California to North Carolina so I'll be making a cross-country trip just to get to the start this time.

12 yr for me, first on a Triglide, we usually ride in with East Coast Harley they leave the Quantico area around 8:30 am, with police escort up the HOV lanes of I95 to pentagon, usually about 8k or so riders, it is a nice way to go.

I'll be on the southern route. This will be my third time second on the southern route. First year on a trike. Maybe we can cross paths in RC and DC.
later

I did that ride in from the HD dealer exactly ONE time. I mean its nice, lots of camaraderie, and ceremony. But by the time my group got there from the dealer were were in the 2nd overflow parking lot.
After that I started going DIRECTLY to the pentagon. arriving about 6 or 7am. and coming in from the NORTH you will be at the relative FRONT of the pack. and out by 1:00 or 1:30.

Get their EARLY, Bring a pillow, or folding chair, find some shade. take a nap until time to go... That is if you cam manage to get some sleep... too exciting!!!!pepper..

ps If anyone wants it, I have a Garmin route all set up on how to come in to the Pentagon from the north.
