Roadsmith Unveils New Running Board Options in Sturgis

White Bear Lake, MN (August 18th, 2015) – Roadsmith Trikes unveiled an all-new running board option this year at the iconic Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. The new option, designed for the award winning HDTR model, features some very practical and stylistic details that will surely prove a valuable option for Roadsmith’s Harley trike conversion customers.

The new running boards blend the retro inspired lines of the HDTR, while remaining a subtle visual accent that rounds out the whole machine. As is all of Roadsmith’s body work, the running boards are constructed of durable hand-laid fiberglass and finished with a sleek thermoformed ABS plastic insert. They are mounted with heavy-duty steel brackets making the boards completely weight bearing, providing a convenient and practical place to step while mounting the trike. The new option retails for $1549 painted to match and is available through all Roadsmith authorized dealers.

These boards are almost exactly the same as the HTS1800 boards. Very comfortable and offer very good rider and passenger protection.

I would recommend anyone getting them to have them Line-X coated right away (can be color matched). After two years on my 2015, mine are very badly chipped. No fault of kit design. Just lots of debris kicked up by the front tire. :xszpv: :xszpv:

Do you have the front fender extension ? They come in chrome. Stops a lot of the rocks being kicked up. I have one on mine if you can find a pic....
