My brother has a 2003 GL1800 Roadsmith. It is an older model that has the back hatch opening from right to left. I have to replace his shocks because they are leaking. Does anyone have any idea what shocks I need to buy and where. I do know that they have springs on them. Do I have to order them from Roadsmith or can I buy them Forman auto parts store?

Unless someone else on the forum happens to have the same vintage Roadsmith conversion to answer your question, I'd just call Roadsmith so there's no doubt as to which shocks are required.

Yep, consult ROADSMITH.....only other alternative would be if You're savvy enough to buy aftermarket by Length, Same Ends, etc. .....ThumbUp

Thanks guys for the advice. We contacted Taylor at Roadsmith and he is sending a pair of shocks. He knew exactly what we needed.
