Thank you for this post/ after own'n a R/Smith Goldwing TRIKE, for a few years now, I never knew that the PREload still works... GOT to try it, once she's out the garage (winter hibernation)

Question : Does change'n this preload, make (or allow) the TRIKE to run any smoother that it does now??? Looking for a softer ride! I've already reduced the rear tire air pressure down too 22lbs (as suggested)
