Roadsmith - GW conversion builder recommendations in the south

Roadsmith - GW conversion builder recommendations in the south

New to the site/forum, looking to get some recommendation or others experience with what Dealer/Builder to do my conversion with down here in the south.

I live in Slidell LA, so Baton Rouge would be the closest dealer on Roadsmith directory. Would like to actually pick someones brian that has had the experience and can advise me.

Thanks

Hi metzoforte,

The nearest Roadsmith dealer to you is Friendly Honda in Baton Rouge, LA. Their address is 10939 Airline Hwy 70816 Ph: 888-908-9737. They have done a fair number of our conversion kits in the past and will be well-versed in the product. If you have any questions that they can't answer, please don't hesitate to call us at the factory 800-331-0705 and we will make sure that you get whatever information you need. Thanks for your interest in Roadsmith!

Metzoforte,

Good morning. It seems we may only be a few miles from each other. I live in Madisonville and ride a 2002 Valkyrie with a "Roadsmith" conversion kit installed by the Friendly Honda folks in Baton Rouge. As a suggestion, you could pull up my background info. on this forum through (jagjeep). We could then send "personal messages" (PM's) or if you want, I could try to help you with questions through this part of the forum. Also, there's always the option of meeting over coffee one day...

As a note, the Roadsmith conversion is a "quality" kit that I'm sure you would appreciate. Also, their customer service contacts have been excellent.

Stay safe and try to keep dry in all our wet weather we've been having lately.

Jagjeep
