Sent a PM out to Solid Bob, but he may be out of town again. Maybe a simple question, but what tool do I need to remove those RS plates from the rear wheels? Guess I don't do much wrenching, I've never seen anything like them. I'm still needing to do a brake fluid change.

</div>Bill, those are security torque screws. The little dimple in the center keeps just anyone from snaring your wheels. They would have to carry some serious tools around.<img src="images/smilies/poof.gif" border="0" alt="" title="poof" class="inlineimg" /><img src="images/smilies/poof.gif" border="0" alt="" title="poof" class="inlineimg" />

Security torque screws, good grief. If I ever get those suckers out, I'm replacing them with something. I can imagine the what if's with those things. In my opinion, a bad idea. Guess I need to e-mail RS, find out exactly I need to remove those 'security screws'.

</div>If you have a Harbor Freight in your area the sell a Security Bit set for $5.99 that is very handy. Here is the link. <a href="http://www.harborfreight.com/33-piece-security-bit-set-68459.html" target="_blank">http://www.harborfreight.com/33-piec...set-68459.html</a>

Thanks Gold, I'll be heading that way, 'bout 30 mins from me, hope they have it. I'll be calling first. Now I'm guessing there's a tool in this kit that will remove those pesky security screws? Jus askining.

I checked mine and they are not real security screws. That cover plate just pops in and out. There is a slot on the outside edge to put a screwdriver and pop the cover off.
