risers?

I have seen some posts where risers seem to make a difference in riding comfort, are risers for all riders to provide a more comfortable riding positions or are they typically for the shorter riders ? I`m 6 ft and not sure if they are needed ...and when the bike is converted to a trike with the new forks on the 2020 Road-smith conversion on a 2019 Honda Goldwing will that bring the position of the handle bars into a more comfortable position? Thank you in advance for all your help !

Hi Glenn, risers can do 2 things, raise the bars up and or pull them toward you for a better fit. Sit on your trike close your eyes and reach for your handle bars. This will give you some what of an idea that your body is telling you where it wants your arms to be comfortable.

I wanted the full HeliBar package but wasn’t sure it was worth the price. I chose the risers from Wing Stuff and that was all I needed. Without them, I would have had to sell the bike. Cost was very reasonable.

I had the Heli Bars on my '06 and after getting them adjusted, at nearly $1000 with installiation, I thought I had wasted my money.

Now that I have a '19 DCT Tour/Roadsmith conversion, I bought the risers but have not installed them yet. It's too cold to be pulling and bending the plastic around the handle bars.
