Has anyone put some risers on a 2012 Goldwing? I am thinking about putting some on my Goldwing. After looking at it I think that I will have to remove the GPS unit and maybe the instrument panel. There are two screws just below the GPS that are in a cover that goes over the handle bar bolts. I was hopeing that someone elses has install riser that I could ask a few questions.

I got the handle bars loose and ready to install the risers. It wasn't that big of a job. One of the hardest part was trying to figure out how the clips on the wires came apart. The GPS unit is made in with the instrument panel. There are 4 large screws holding it on. After I took them out then I could move the GPS and dash around so I could get to the bolts on the handle bars. I will be receiving the risers tomorrow and will put them on. I hope that everything goes well with that.

Got the risers on with help from a good friend. Everything went back ok. On the handlebar center cover I had to do some cutting on it. I had to cut it out so it would fit around the handlebars and then I could use the orginal screws. It would have been nice if they would have given a digram to show you where to cut.

I installed the risers on my 08,found that the risers worked really well, hands used to get numb and tinglely.Well worth the investment. God Bless and safe riding
