Rewaco RF 1st Fuel Gauge Problem

hi all new member ive recently bought a rewaco rf1 but as soon as i put ignition on fuel gauge goes straight to full just wondering if anyone else has had this issue before and what caused it i was thinking it could be possibly a wiring fault or float in fuel tank any help would be appreciated cheers

Hello welcome and I do think you have Identified the possible issues. Stuck float or shorted gauge. Possibly been rewired wrong?
