Reverse light flashing

cruse control would not engage and then noticed reverse light was flashing. what didido?

check the swith on the reverce leaver that will control the crouse and let the light blink may just need cleaning mine did that

Also check the sensor right above the oil dipstick on the right side of the engine. Fred Harmon said it occasionally comes loose and that will result in the same thing. No reverse with the flashing reverse light. It's covered with a rubber boot just remove the boot and tighten the lug on the wire. Hope this helps.
