Reverse add-on GL1500

Does anyone have any info, or advice on adding reverse to '88 GL 1500. Driveline, aftermarket, homemade design etc.??? Would appreciate any pic's, diagrams, links, or what ever you have.

Honda only built 1 model GL1500 in 1988 & 1989, they both came with reverse.

Agree. Lever on side of tank is for reverse. Unless you are asking because yours is broken then that's a whole new ballgame.

Put bike in neutral with engine running, pull lever up, then press "start" button to activate reverse. It will move backwards at 1/2 mph.

Cool, was unaware, thought that came later on 1800's, bought bike at auction for purpose of building a Trike, have not picked up bike yet. I guess I was a little premature with that question, but thanks for the info.
