I see many people like the Redline Shockproof oil in their trannys. I checked the Redline website and see 3 shockproofs listed. There is heavy, lite, and superlite. All three are referred to as shockproof.

Which is the correct one for the Harley transmission?

This question was asked over in HDforums about two years ago. The Redline Rep. came on and said if you go to Their website or one of their distributer's and click on Motorcycle oils. The V-twin Transmission oil is the same as Heavy with shockproof and same price. It protects like a 75W250 oil but flows like 75W90. I've been running it over two years now. Seems like the Tranny shift's better and better the longer I run it. I buy mine from racerpartswholesale.com 14.95 a quart. I've been changing mine every 10K but I'm going to do as the newer manuals suggest and start changing at 20K.
Best oil IMO
