Hello all.

About six years ago back problems forced me off the passengers seat on my husband's bike, a very rough riding custom that sometimes made me think my spine was being hammered out the top of my head. I have ridden on the back forever and absolutely love riding so we decided that it was time for my own ride, and after some long hard thought, that it would be a three wheeler.

After checking out the different ones available, we bought a new 2006 Honda Shadow Aero by Motortrike, I got my license, and I'm totally hooked. Boy, I thought the back seat was fun, but this the absolute best.

In 2009, Joe, my husband, landed a great deal on a 2007 Road King with 8,000 miles as his second bike for longer touring type rides thinking we might do some loooong trips, but when he didn't ride it that much, we went to plan B. That winter he bought a Champion kit and converted it in our garage with the requiste snafus. Some custom fiberglass, paint and personalization, and the end result is perfect.

Once my riding friends realized I could handle the twisties and speed they never took it easy on me and there were times in those 13,000 miles that the Honda couldn't quite keep up, but now,as Joe puts it, I'm right there all the time. Triking has added so much to our lives that you will never get me off of it. :Biker:
