Red light on dash

Hey Guys, i have a 2023 freewheeler and it has roughly 700 miles. The little red dot came on and stays on now. What does it mean?

The red light is a security light, have your dealer take a look at it

Most common reason the light comes on is a lighting issue, have you recently changed any lights on your Trike?

Check to make sure all your lights are working

By scanning your Trike for codes you can narrow this down by seeing a trouble code

The same thing happened to me last week when I added some LED lights. I disconnected the lights and cleared the codes, then the red light turned off. I am waiting for the post office to deliver a new wire harness for the LED lights to see if that solves the problem.

Once you clear the codes they should not apear again, the can bus system runs on low voltage, the BCM sees that as a light out hence the trouble code is set

Some “Red Light On” levity if you will. A “duh” moment for sure.

I had the bike in HD for some service related stuff. They bring the Trike to the your all done section and I’m just bs’n with the mechanic.

When I turned on the ignition and started her up there was a “red light” on right in the center of my Speedo. In a mini panic I quickly asked what the light on was … so it was the parking brake light. This I have never seen since I have never used the park brake “duh”

Yall are awesome. Very fast responses. I found the issue. Single white wire going into harness on right side of bike, the pin was pushed out. Prohably from where i put bars on the bike
